Rajesh Payal Rai

Rajesh Payal Rai is a popular singer in Nepalese music industry. He was born on 30 September 1975. He was born in Khotang District of Nepal. He is a professional singer Folk Songs. According to the information in different publication and records he is active in music industry since 1992. His father was a British army. Originally he is child age was spent in Buipa of Khotang a terai district of Nepal. Rajesh Payal Rai has recorded to many songs in Nepalese music industry. He also sings in Limbu Bhasha. He had recoreded Murchhana and Purbama Ranga Chadechha 1995, in 1997 just for you, in 1998 love letter, in 2004 jadou, kamana in 2006 and other many more recording onwards.

He has been awarded several times i.e. achieved gold medal in Radio Nepal's Modern Songs Competition in 1995, Narayan Gopal Youth Award in 2005, Chhinalata Pratibha Award 2010. He also has been awarded as a best playback singer. So his effort, devotion toward the music has been successful in the music industry.

As he is originally from Buipa but his voice has been popular all over the country. Buipa is very remote area of Nepal. There are no sufficient opportunities and instruments for singing.
