Health and its factors of good health

When we lost our all money, it is nothing lost, When education and knowledge is lost, something lost and when health is lost then nothing is rest. So we can understand the importance of health in our life. Health is one of the basic needs of human being. It also comes under human rights. The country which doesn't maintain good health of the people cannot claim that it provides rights to the people.

An unhealthy person cannot work properly in the field, factories, offices, school and colleges. Whatever property he or she has is spent visiting doctors, buying medicine and very soon the economic condition will go down.  Such a person will never have peaceful and happy life. There are several factors that are responsible for maintaining good health. Some of the main factors are necessary to explain here.

Nutritious food
The first and foremost thing is food. As a vehicle cannot run without fuel our body also needs food as fuel to sustain life. The quality of food also determines health. A good food containing all sorts of nutrition like vitamin, protein, calcium, carbohydrate etc. develops a good health. In other word a balance diet containing all the elements needed by our body in proper quality is essential in order to maintain a good health. At the same time regularity in eating habits at proper intervals, the amount of food for different age group and the way of preparation of food also determine our health.

Clean Drinking Water
The water that we during and use for cooking purposes must be clean and free from pollution. Most people in the developing countries like Nepalese in Kathmandu valley are being suffered by water borne diseases. If water is contaminated with germs, if it is not properly filtered and if we drink such water directly from the source then no matter how rich and balanced food we may eat, we sill sure fall sick and remain unhealthy. Thus safe and clean drinking water is essential for maintaining good health.

Maintenance of Cleanliness
In order to remain healthy, cleanliness is essential. We need to maintain cleanliness by taking bath regularly, wearing clean clothes and cleaning the things that we use like our bed, utensils, food items, dwelling place and our surroundings. We should dispose the waste materials at proper places. The materials that can be burned should be separated from others and burnt.

Physical Exercise
It is another necessary activity to maintain a good health. Those who work in field, factories, construction of roads, building houses etc use their power of muscles and keep themselves fit. After a hard labor throughout the day, they are tired and hungry. As much they eat whatever they get and digest easily and have a sound sleep in the night. People living mountains and hills areas have to walk up and down regularly because of which their bodies always remain fit. They seldom get sick because of cold climate and population free environment.
